Merry Christmas is another one of very popular Christmas party games falling under the category fun party games, played more with the spirit of fun than with the spirit to win.
The game is played in order to raise the holiday spirit in a Christmas party. All the players are given a piece of paper and a pencil each. They are supposed to write the name of the game on the top of the paper.
Next, everyone tries to write as many letters out of its letters as one can. The words must be having a meaning as per the dictionary of the language in which the game is being played. They just cannot be any meaningless combination of letters.
After exactly 3 minutes, all the players submit their papers back to an impartial person who has been chosen to be the judge for assessing the performance. One who has been able to write the maximum number of meaningful words wins the game. A few special prizes are also set for the most unique or/and the longest words written.
The more the prizes, the merrier the players and the higher the spirits!
