Charades is one of the guessing word games standing quite popular among indoor party games throughout the world.
Players are basically supposed to act out a word or a phrase through mono acting without resorting to the use of language whether vocally or with gestures.

The target of the player is to make her/his team rightly guess what s/he was trying to convey.
In the beginning, each player of both the teams writes a word or a phrase on a piece of paper and puts it in a container from where the other team takes all of them out one by one, one by each player to act.

The guess-work is allowed only a limited duration of time after which another player from the opposing team comes forward to act out her/his piece of pantomime.
The game ends when all the players have had their turn and the winner decided by the score kept during the course of the game.
